What Is Lipo Captivitation

Lipo Cavitation is a nonsurgical, noninvasive technology that utilizes sound waves to break down and eliminate fat cells. This is a revlutionary technique offering a new level of slimming results.

The use of sound waves for cosmetic purposes has  been around since 2005. Lipo cavitation was pioneered in Italy, known as Cavitazione Estetica. The procedure is very popular in Europe and is quickly spreading across the globe. The technique has only recently begun to gain popularity here in the USA. It has been FDA cleared in the USA since 2009.

Lipo cavitation is also referred to as ultrasound cavitation, cavitation body sculpting, ultrasonic cavitation and liposonix. The procedure uses sound waves emitted at a specific frequency to reduce fat deposits, promoting inch loss.

This is a safe pain free alternative to Liposuction and other invasive surgical procedures that can be painful and may require weeks of recovery time. Lipo cavitation does NOT cause bleeding, bruising or pain and it does NOT require any recovery time!

The Skinny combines Lipo Cavitation with Radio Frequency for enhanced results. Radio Frequency is an energy source using heat to tighten skin while helping to initiate the production of new collagen. The use of Radio Frequency to stimulate the production of new collagen can have great anti-aging benefits! Radio frequency is a cosmetic treatment used to tighten loose or sagging skin with no incision or recovery time!

Ultrasonic Cavitation, Frequently Asked Question

What Is Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a relatively new aesthetic treatment using cutting edge technology of ultrasound. Ultrasonic cavitation is a weight-loss treatment that uses ultrasound waves to burst fat cells, which may result in lost inches on the treated areas and slimmer figure.

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a 100% outpatient procedure. Ultrasonic cavitation causes an emulsification of fat, converting fat into a substance that can be eliminated through the lymphatic systems. So putting it in simple words; Ultrasonic cavitation is a simple procedure that relies on Ultrasound waves to flush fat from the body instead of intensive surgery.

It has been growing in popularity over the last few years because this procedure is less invasive than traditional Liposuction and can be easily done as an out-patient in 20-30 minutes without any down time.

How does ultrasonic cavitation work?

The procedure works on the principle of low frequency. Ultrasounds are elastic waves that are not audible to people (above 20,000Hz). During an ultrasonic cavitation procedure, noninvasive machines target specific body areas with Ultra sound waves and in some cases, light suction. It uses ultrasound, without any surgical operations needed, to efficiently transmit an energy signal through human skin disrupting adipose tissue. This process heats and vibrates the layers of fat deposits below the skin's surface. The heat and vibration eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into the lymphatic system.

Does ultrasonic cavitation work?

Yes, but results may vary! Depending on your individual health history and body type, you may slim down more or less dramatically or have longer- or shorter-lasting results than others.

How many treatments do I need? How often should I be treated to see results?

A single body part treatment lasts 20–30 minutes. 48-72 hours must pass between each session for the body to eliminate the fat. Generally most clients start to see a difference in 3 treatments.

Often time you'll see results after first session. However, between 8 and 12 sessions are needed for optimum results. The exact number of treatments will vary due to factors such as age, weight, and the area being treated.

Is there any downtime?

How long does the result of ultrasonic cavitation last?

Ultrasonic cavitation does not destroy fat cells. You can achieve “volume reduction” of fatty tissues and “toning of the body.” This procedure uses cavitation technology (ultrasound) to attack fat deposits that have proven a daunting task to shed off despite the dieting and regular exercising. It just makes the fat cells release their contents, which means the cells are capable of storing fat again. The results are gradual over a number of weeks as your body clears the broken-down fatty tissues. It is not uncommon to achieve up to 10 cm. reduction by the end of the treatment course. The results can be long-lasting provided you follow a healthy diet and exercise program. However it is very easy to deposit fat again into the tissues if one overeats, consumes too much alcohol, or doesn’t exercise. Ultimately the result may vary depending on the individual’s tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medication, and changes in hormones.

Ultrasonic Cavitation Contraindications

  • The procedure is not recommended for individuals below the age of 18 years.

  • Pregnant women, as well as epileptic individuals, should refrain from undertaking this procedure.

  • Individuals with conditions such as blood pressure, diabetes and cancer should not use Ultra cavitation treatment.

  • Individuals having metallic implants in the treatment area should not participate in the process.

The standard interval between individual Ultra cavitation treatments are 72 hours to allow enough time for the body to recover.

What are Side Effects of ultrasonic Cavitation?

Although Ultra Cavitation side effects are rarely heard of, but that doesn’t mean there are none. Side effects we found in reviews include:

  • Skin redness and irritation

  • Increased body temperature

  • Mild aches and pains

  • Increased thirst

  • Headache

What is the Ultrasonic Cavitation After Care?

The most important part of this process is to follow the ultrasonic cavitation aftercare instructions to achieve the desired results.

To begin with, it is always emphasized on hydration. You need to drink plenty of fluid preferably water before and after treatment and days afterwards.

Other important aftercare considerations include:

  • Again, Increase water intake.

  • Choose healthier, nutrient-rich foods.

  • Add daily exercise to tighten skin and lose any extra weight.

  • Avoid fatty foods.

  • Avoid alcohol

What is Lymphatic Drainage Therapy?

Your lymphatic system helps eliminate your body’s waste. A healthy, active lymphatic system uses the natural movements of smooth muscle tissue to do this.

However, surgery, medical conditions, or other damage can cause fluids to build up in your lymph system and your lymph nodes, a condition known as lymphedema.

If you’ve ever had a surgery on or involving your lymph nodes, a tummy tuck, Lipo your doctor or surgern  may have suggested lymphatic drainage massage performed by a certified massage or physical therapist. However,

lymphatic massage is not recommended for people with the following conditions:

  • congestive heart failure

  • history of blood clots or stroke

  • current infection

  • liver problems

  • kidney problems
